Chinese structure with a spectacular view of the swimming pools.
Cost
$50 Function/Outing
$7 per person week days
$8 per person Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
$100 non-refundable deposit applied to cost
No per person charge for Lakewood members or under age 2
Alcohol will be confined to the Cabanas
at a specific time only.
Once alcohol is served, no one from the
Cabanas may re-enter the club grounds.
Security may be required and is required
if alcohol is served in the Cabanas only.
Rules and regulations of Lakewood Swim
Club apply and will be presented when contract is signed.
CABANAS
Proposal “B”
Includes use of the Cabanas and sports areas of Mallet Pool, Volleyball,
Pickleball, Badminton, Softball and Soccer only.
May 15 through September 30
The Cabanas Club, later known as the Coconut Lounge, is one of the few
remaining ball rooms in existence which catered to big band
entertainment including, The Beach Boys and The Four Seasons.
The Cabanas is nostalgic with Polynesian-type atmosphere. It has a
formal entrance, a terrace overlooking Lakewood and a spacious,
enchanting flower area which includes a trout pond and fountain.
There is inside and outside seating for 500 people, a two-tiered
bandstand, dance floor with lighted mirrored ball under a dome,
public address system, charcoal grills and kitchen with stove and
refrigeration.

$400 Lakewood’s Member Function/Outing
$450 non-member of Lakewood Function/Outing
$100 non-refundable deposit applied to cost
Optional
$50 clean up - Manager’s discretion
$1.50 unlimited soda per person
Alcohol may be served in the Cabanas only and will be confined to a
specific time if using any of the included sports areas
