New Members
New members are sponsored by a present member, 21 years of age or
older. Sponsoring members must sign application form and give to
applicant. Applicant completes application form, signs and returns
to office complete with all family members joining (if family
cannot come at the same time - different
times are acceptable). Acceptable identification such as driver’s license or birth certificate is necessary for each member applying.
Application cannot be processed until all family members have come
to the office. No applications accepted by mail.
Application will be placed on the waiting list and when approved and an
opening is available, applicant will be notified by mail or phone.
The date membership is paid in full and number in family joining will
determine membership cost plus initiation fee. There is no charge
for anyone younger than 2 years of age. Ages are effective opening
day. Please see Membership Price Schedule.
No payment will be accepted until application has been approved and
an opening is available.
Initiation Fee
Initiation fee for new members and past members whose membership has lapsed 2
years or more is $20 including sales tax for one person and $38
including sales tax for a family of two or more. If membership
lapses for only one year, initiation fee is $11 including sales
tax for one person and $22 including sales tax for
a family of two or more. All new and past members will be
placed on the waiting list.
Family
A family consists of father, mother and their children all living in
the same household. There are no individual memberships for those age 17 and younger.
Anyone 18
to 20 years of age may be a member with their parents or have
their own membership. Anyone 21 years of age or older must be a member
as an individual. Ages are effective opening day.
Guests
Guest fees are $5 Monday through Friday and $6 Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Four guests are the limit
for each member per season. There is no charge for anyone younger than 2 years of age. Lakewood
reserves the right to restrict any admissions. Guests cannot leave
Lakewood and re-enter without paying another guest fee.
Locker Rental
Locker rental for the season is $7.00 including sales tax. Lockers are
located in the Bath House. Please furnish your own lock.
Chaise Lounges
Chaise lounge rental for the season is $21.20 including sales tax.
There
is a long waiting list for chaise lounges.
Sponsoring Bonus
Sponsoring member will receive 25% of
new member’s membership price (prior to sales tax) when sponsoring member
and new member’s memberships are paid in full. Sponsoring bonuses will
not be paid for memberships lapsing one year or more.
